Smoke watch in southern Oregon this weekend

Keep an eye out for smoke over the weekend of September 25th and 26th. Wind this weekend could bring occasional wildfire smoke into parts of Klamath, Lake and Harney Counties. Smoke from the Fawn Fire in California could impact these areas over the weekend. Air quality conditions can change rapidly, check current conditions here, by downloading the free OregonAir app on your smartphone, or going to AirNow.gov .  Smoke can irritate the eyes and lungs and worsen some medical conditions. People most at risk include infants and young children, people with heart or lung disease, older adults and pregnant women. Protect yourself and your family when smoke levels are high: Stay inside if possible. Keep windows and doors closed. Avoid strenuous outdoor activity.
