The National Weather Service issued a a Smoke Air Quality Alert earlier today for Northeast Oregon and Southeast Washington.
The service says in part: "Smoke from wildfires in eastern Washington, British Columbia, and Montana is expected to affect portions of north central and northeast Oregon as north to northeast winds push smoke around the area during the remainder of the week. Air quality will vary between good and unhealthy depending on wind direction and time of day."
