next couple of days will bring breezy northwest winds to the fire area. Winds
are expected to be 10-15 mph with gusts possibly reaching 25 mph and
conditions remaining dry with humidity at the 20-30% level. Surface inversion lifting around 1000 hours
today. Northwesterly winds may push smoke toward Unity and Vail. Unity is expected to have Moderate levels this
evening and into the morning. Baker
City, Burns, John Daly and Prairie City will have Good smoke levels today. Expect a clearing
overnight with smoke settling into the drainages.
