DEQ expects the air quality advisory to last until at least Tuesday morning, Sept. 2. DEQ expects intermittent smoke in Bend until at least Tuesday morning, Sept. 2. Smoke levels can change rapidly depending on weather. DEQ expects intermittent smoke in Deschutes and Jefferson counties through Thursday morning, Aug. 28, due to smoke from the Flat Fire .
