Check  what times of day smoke might be better or worse in different areas of Central Oregon in the daily Smoke Outlook from the U.S. Interagency Wildland Fire Air Quality Response Program. The agencies expect the air quality advisory to last until at least Wednesday afternoon. DEQ also is monitoring intermittent smoke in Southern Oregon due to the Flat Fire burning between Grants Pass and Gold Beach. QUICK FACTS Location: Deschutes, Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, Eastern Lane counties End date: Wednesday night, July 26, with possibility to extend Smoke source: Bedrock Fire between Bend and Eugene and Flat Fire in southwest Oregon The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and Lane Regional Air Protection Agency issued an air quality advisory Monday for parts of Central and Southern Oregon. DEQ and LRAPA expect intermittent smoke in the following areas through at least Wednesday night: Deschutes County (worst overnight and early morning hours) due to the Bedrock Fire. Jackson County due to the Flat Fire. Josephine County (localized near the Cave Junction area by the Flat Fire). Klamath County due to the Bedrock Fire. Lake County due to the Bedrock Fire. QUICK FACTS Location: Warm Springs Reservation, Jefferson County, Josephine County End date: Monday, July 24 Smoke sources: Simnasho Fire and Flat Fire The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issued an air quality advisory Saturday for the following areas: The Warm Springs Reservation and Jefferson County, particularly near Madras, due to smoke from the Simnasho Fire. Josephine County, particularly near Cave Junction, due to smoke from the Flat Fire. DEQ expects the air quality advisory to last until at least Monday, July 24.
